Judaism is spiritual inversion. It takes all of the perennial truths, taught in just about every spiritual tradition in just about every culture on every continent – and flips it upside down.
Think about this for just a moment, as a sane, rational person:
When there’s a voice speaking to you out of nowhere, and it’s telling you to do things, your first item of business should be to discern the true nature of the entity. Sure it *claims* to be the creator of the universe. But demons can lie. Anyone can claim to be anything. How do you know the spirit voice is *actually* from a divine being vs. a demonic being?
Well, if you’re wise, you discern by looking at the things it’s asking you to do. Are they good things? Is it commanding you to find a hungry person and feed them? Find a lonely person and comfort them? Plant fruit trees for future generations? Is it teaching you math and geometry and science and medicine and meditation and breathing exercises and deep philosophy?
If so, then it might be God. Or some divine being at least.
But what if it’s commanding you to do bad things… vile things? Like take knives and cut yourself? To cut an entire organ off your own body? And then to do the same to other people? What if it’s commanding you to kill people? Innocent people who have done nothing wrong? A child? Your own son? These are the vilest acts in the world. And they prove that the entity speaking to Abraham, if ever this story even happened at all, was an evil being.
Listen up, folks. Listen really carefully:
If a voice in your head tells you to kill your family, that’s a demon.
God doesn’t tell you to kill people – demons do that. So if I voice in your head claims to be God and tells you to commit self harm and kill your family, the correct answer is NO. You say “No! I will not be cutting off anyone’s genital organs, and I will not be killing my son. No. Not in a million years. Begone, demon! Trouble me no more!”
And then, if the demon doesn’t leave you alone, you’re supposed to visit the local shaman or medicine man/woman, and tell them the problem, and see if they can exorcise the demon. Abraham should have exorcised the voice – not obeyed it!
But Abraham in the story says Yes to the voice, on all accounts. And it presents that as if he made the “right choice.” So the book is presenting a wrong choice, an evil choice, as if it’s a good choice. And that is spiritual inversion.
What lesson is the Abraham and Isaac story trying to convey? Well if you ask any religious scholar who believes in it, they’ll all tell you the purpose of the story is to convey that you’re supposed to do whatever God says, no matter what it is, no matter how heinous, no matter how vile. If a high enough authority tells you to do it, you do it.
And that’s a wrong lesson. That’s the lesson of a cult. That’s the lesson of an army – an army that’s been sent to conquer and kill. An army that knows it’s going to have to slice little kids’ heads off. You have to tell the soldiers of that army that when you’re ordered to do something by authority, you do it, no matter what it is. And that’s the lesson that the Abe story is meant to convey, and it’s the root of the evil that’s plagued humanity for the 3000 years since: This idea that when authority tells you to do something vile, you do it.
No you don’t do it. That’s the wrong lesson. And the horrors that humanity has faced for the thousands of years since, is due to the inverted lesson taught in the Abraham story. That story is responsible for humanity’s agony. That story is why humanity can’t grow up. That story is why humanity has to keep reliving savagery, century after century after century. That story.
It’s one of the evilest stories in the world. It’s like a disease that got into humanity’s brain. Whoever wrote that story was as far away from God as it’s possible to be. In fact, I think that story was written by the devil.
And yet that story presents itself as if it’s from the highest and most divine origin. That is spiritual inversion.
When I was just a baby, new to this world, looking around in wonder and curiosity, a disgusting predator held and tied me down to a table, with my arms and legs spread out, like a torture position, and then fondled my infant penis to erection, and then cut into me with a knife, and twisted it around in my body while I screamed in bloodcurdling agony. I lost an entire organ that day: my prepuce, constituting 1/3 of the nerves in my penis, and I was traumatized as deeply as it’s possible to traumatize someone. From that day on, I no longer trusted Life. And I have suffered from it in ways it would take hours to describe to you.
And it happened because of that creature, the one that whispered in the ear of Abraham. That being wanted this trauma.
And it’s been passed down, generation to generation, father to son. How can any son ever trust his father now? How can any son ever respect or honor his father, when he knows that his father views him as a piece of property, which he has the right to carve the genitals of, harvest organs from, and even the right to kill if he wants? How can I respect my own father, when I know that he views “Abraham” as having made the “right” choice? Would my own father be willing to sacrifice me on the altar of his god? Well, if he’s a devout Jew, one who takes Abraham as a role model, then the answer would be yes. I therefore cannot respect even my own father, or grandfather – or mother or grandmother – or any ancestor in my ancestral line in the last thousand or three thousand years, because they all sat there and believed this evil shit, and they all knifed their infant children in the genitals, and not one of them thought to stop. Centuries and centuries, and not one of them thought to stop. Evil pieces of garbage. My ancestors were evil pieces of garbage, and it’s because of that disgusting demon that whispered in Abraham’s ear. Because of him (or it), I never got to have a family. I had caretakers, but I never trusted them, and never felt loved by them, because I knew that they trafficked me into the hands of a disgusting knife-wielding sexual torture-predator, when I couldn’t even crawl yet. Disgusting. And it’s all because of that demon.
And the same demon states, in his book, that he plans on incinerating the entire planet, with me on it. Maybe some time quite soon, if his followers get their way.
The entity that destroys the world is the BAD GUY. Maybe you haven’t watched enough movies, but the character that says “I will destroy the world”, and makes plans to actually do it, is the BAD GUY.
Oh I hear the reply already: “He can do whatever he wants with it, including destroy it, because he created it!”
No. The fact that he wants to destroy it MEANS that he’s not the creator of it!! Because creators don’t want to destroy their own work. OTHER people might though. And so if someone wants to destroy the planet, then obviously, he or she didn’t create the planet. Imagine if you’re working in an art gallery, and someone calls on the phone, and demands that you destroy all your Thomas Kincaid pieces, and they claim the authority to tell you this because THEY ARE Thomas Kincaid – he’s calling, demanding you destroy all of his artwork. If you have an IQ above 50, you know that the fact that this phone-fellow wants Kincaid pieces destroyed PROVES, ALL BY ITSELF, that he is NOT KINCAID.
So now, apply this IQ-50+ understandable principle to God and Creation. If someone is planning to incinerate and destroy the entire planet, then he or she or it is obviously NOT the creator of said planet. It’s some other entity, some interloper, an impostor. A pretender to the throne. A demon masquerading as a god.
And when you also factor in that the same entity makes children scream in excruciating pain and terror while their freshly-fondled genitals bleed and their organs are harvested, we can get a clear picture.
Oh, and the same entity issued commands to his “people” to kill every man woman and child in entire nations, and rebuked them when they left any survivors alive.
Really, really clear picture that that thing is a demon.
